CELTA (Pass B)
International House İzmir
I completed my CELTA through a face-to-face, full-time program from October 2024 to November 2024. During this time, I taught A1 and B1-level English classes, gaining valuable experience in planning lessons, delivering engaging activities, and assessing student progress. This hands-on training allowed me to develop key skills in classroom management and adapt my teaching strategies to suit the needs of different learners.
ELT & AI: The big questions (Teaching, Learning & Assessment)
University of Cambridge
In April 2024, I attended the University of Cambridge's webinar titled ELT & AI: The Big Questions (Teaching, Learning & Assessment). This event provided valuable insights into the impact of Artificial Intelligence on English Language Teaching (ELT), focusing on the evolving role of AI in education, particularly in teaching methodologies, learning processes, and assessment strategies.

In highschool, I have attended my first Model United Nations Conference and I was the delegate of Pakistan in Disarmament and İnternational Security Committee. Although I was very excited, I was awarded. I believe this conference made my realize my interest in International Relations and also my confidence when giving a speech to the audience which influenced to my teaching.

I have attended one of the greatest MUN conferences in Turkey, Bogazici MUN as a delegate of Lebanon again, in DISEC committee. In here I realized I was in a professional conference and learned that sometimes to get what you desire, you should work hard since other delegates were well prepared and ambitious. Thanks to this amazing conference I prepare my presentations perfectly.

For the community service course, we donated and collected toys and stationery donations for the preschool in a remote village in Bozdogan/Aydin.
Educational Cultural Exchange Program
Exchange Student
In 2015 my high school exchanged students with Elite Gorda Private School in Batumi/Georgia. We stayed in Batumi for a week in our friends' homes from Elite Gorda Private School. It was an unforgettable experience where I spent a week without my family in a whole different country. This experience made me go out of my comfort zone and never miss a chance in which I could travel and observe other cultures.
